Fold Quest
Click. Fold. Ascend.
Welcome to Fold Quest, a quirky clicker/idle game about the ancient art of origami.
Start with nothing but your trusty Toilet Paper, and work your way up through Newspaper, up to Divine Kami Sheets. Each click fills your Progression Bar, and when it’s full - you gain Folds, the lifeblood of your paper empire.
But folding is not free: every click drains Energy. Manage your energy, upgrade your regen, and balance between Active Clicking and Idle Automators that fold for you when your fingers need a break.
Features
- Clicking Upgrades: From flat power boosts to ridiculous multipliers
- Energy System: Every fold costs energy - balance activity with recovery time
- Paper Tiers: Toilet paper to sacred kami - each come with stronger folds
- Origami Techniques: Unlock legendary creations - each with ups and downs
- Idle Automation: To keep things folding while you rest
- Ascension System: A massive ascension talent tree based on modular Kusudama
Why play? Because sometimes you just want to turn a humble piece of toilet paper into a dragon that breaks the universe!
Will you master the fold, or will the paper crumple first?
Controls
- Pressing esc at any time brings you back to the main menu.
Save Data
- Your progress is automatically saved in the game’s user folder (Godot default).
- Saves remain even if you delete or move the game folder.
- To transfer saves between machines, copy the save files from this folder to the same path on the other device.

finished all cureent content over all pretty good
Thanks a lot! I am really glad you enjoyed it and made it through all the current content. I really appreciate your comment and support!
Love the game! I feel like I've gone through all the content, and will save to play it again. My suggestion is having some sort of notification and/or badge for when you've reached the end of current content (i.e., all upgrades bought)
Thank you! I am really happy you played the game and enjoyed it! I truly appreciate your feedback and support!
That is a great idea - having a final talent in the tree as a sort of badge for reaching the end of the current content would be a nice touch. I will definitely keep that in mind for a future update.
I feel like automation is kinda underpowered to start
Thank you for replaying the game, I appreaciate the feedback again!
Automation is a bit weak at the start by design, since it scales up really strongly later on. That way it feels more rewarding as you progress.
May you add a music toggle? I do not want to have to mute the website in its entirety just so that I can get a break from it.
Thanks for playing the game and for the feedback!
A music toggle is already available in the options menu, so you do not need to mute the whole site. If you are in-game, just press Escape to return to the main menu where the options are located. Hope that helps!
Thank you for that. Also, a pretty fun game you got here just a little slow when you get to the prestige portion of the game.
Thanks again!
I really appreciate you sharing how it feels, especially after the update. It looks like the prestige pacing still needs more tuning, so I will work on it.
This is good stuff. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I look forward to more content in the future.
I am really glad you enjoyed it that much! I really appreciate feedback and support - it means a lot.
I might add more content over time, but either way I truly appreciate you playing the game.
is there a way to turn off the screen shake? I don't see it in options
Thank you for playing the game!
There is currently not an option to turn off screen shake, but improving the options menu is definitely on my list for a future update.
I like the game, but definetely more content is nedeed
Thanks a lot! I am really glad you are enjoying it. You are right - there is not a ton of content yet - since it is a fairly small game. I may add more over time, or I might take what I have learned here into a new project.
Either way, I really appreciate your feedback and support!
decent concept, but as the appropriately named @TheBonerStealer stated, actual progression is painfully slow and requires ppl to sit here clicking forever. I'd guess even changing your energy consumption /= 10 maybe only 5 would be a drastic improvement.
Good point on the progression speed - it is something I will be balancing further. I also noticed it feels okay earlier on, but later becomes kind of slow.
Thanks for playing the game and the suggestion on energy consumption, I will take a closer look at it!
prestige points come in abit to slow
Thanks for pointing that out! Prestige pacing is something I will be adjusting, so feedback like this really helps.
I appreciate you playing the game and sharing your experience!
Fun game, but absolutely needs some balance changes. Like for example, the tie fighter is just worse than the dragon, since it barely increases the gained paper enough to offset the drain, but when compared to the decreased drain of the dragon, it has almost the same value
Along with that, the prestige feels like it's almost entirely useless with how it takes to get more stuff with the first one just kinda being eh to get
Thanks a lot for the feedback!
Balance is something I am still tuning, so it really helps to hear how the Tie Fighter and Prestige feel compared to other options. My original idea was for the Dragon to support active clicking and the Tie Fighter to work better for a more idle style, but I’ll be looking at ways to make those choices feel more rewarding.
Really appreciate you taking the time to play and share your thoughts!
